These are the best nighs of my life. Its the best thing to make a guy forget about his broken heart and you can be sure that all we are trying to do is get him laid. Women love men that are fresh out of a relationship. They know that they are clean and they know they are going to get it good because they are on rebound sex time and thats super fun stuff ladies. So yes men do just want to go out and sleep with someone new after a broken heart but hey ladies this is going to be a great night for you in the sack so come along for the party.

Why is it that when you break up with someone that you need to have a party like the relationship was a terrible existance?
Is it really that important to call all of your friends when you break up so you can go get drunk and be with someone else? This is something you do in college not when you are an adult getting a divorce.

Its just like a time that you need friends around to support you and let you know that life goes on. It becomes a party because everyone figures that if you just broke up then you arent feeling to happy so partying will cheer you up. I think its something that people do after a getting a divorce in their 40's or 50's just because you need to move on and thats a good way of doing it.

I threw a party when I got a divorce. Best day of my life  Not every marriage can be happy go lucky fun times. All of my friends and family hated my wife and it took a long time for me to see her for what she really was.

I think the point of girls/guys night out when newly separated is to "confirm" the ending, as well as take your mind off the past. Start fresh, new, hang out with pals, drink, dance, whatever it is you do. Always good for the soul. Even if its just movies, dinner, or clubbing.
